The timeline depends on the type of test and the lab's processing schedule. At Validity Genetics, we work to make the process as fast and efficient as possible without sacrificing accuracy.
General Turnaround Times

Here’s what you can expect for each test category once your sample reaches the laboratory:
Paternity Test: 2–3 business days
Relationship Tests (Sibling, Grandparent, Avuncular): 2–3 business days
Forensic Relationship Tests (Forensic Sibling, etc): 5–7 business days
Infidelity Tests (Semen/Saliva Detection, DNA Comparison): 5–7 business days
These estimates begin once the lab has received and checked in your samples.
Factors That May Affect Processing Time
Sample Quality: Poor or degraded samples may require reprocessing
Number of Items Submitted: More samples can mean more analysis time
Non-Standard Samples: May need additional prep time
Holidays or Weekends: Our lab process samples and release results Monday through Friday
