Discovering Paternity using Blood and Special DNA Samples

Our Forensic Paternity DNA Test is an informational test which uses special samples, most commonly blood samples, and determine the likelihood that a male is the biological father of a child. Our standard test includes testing for one potential father and one child. While the test can be done with only the father and child, we strongly recommend testing the mother to increase the accuracy.

When ordered we will send you a kit with instructions on how to gather and care for the forensic (special) DNA samples, oral swabs, and instructions on how to collect any additional DNA via the oral swabs (in cases where the blood or special sample is being tested against anothers’ DNA), and a prepaid envelope to return the samples to our lab.

Please note that Forensic Relationship Test cannot be done as a legal test due to chain of custody, if needed for a court case please consult an attorney.

Our standard Forensic Paternity 2 Person DNA Test includes testing for:

1 Potential Father and 1 Child

We can design your test specific to your needs.
