Changes to DNA Testing During COVID-19

August 01 2020 Update

While Covid-19 continues to its resurgence in the United States we are beginning to reopen our main laboratory in El Paso, Tx to collect samples in person.

Please note all test and sample collections must be scheduled ahead of time through our online portal. All tests must be paid in advance and will require masks for everyone in attendance. We will not be scheduling Prenatal Paternity Tests (NIPP) at this time.

If you have any questions about scheduling a test with us please reach out to us via email Info@ValidityGenetics.com or chat with a representative via Facebook messenger.

Remote working and changes on how best to contact us

In the increase of the cases and larger scale of government reactions to COVID-19 and its spread across the United States, the health and safety of our customers, partners, and employees are our top priorities. Here are the changes we are making and how it will affect contacting our offices during this time.

How we are keeping our employees and partners safe

We have implemented an emergency-response plan with guidelines for working and managing teams remotely, and have taken steps to spread out staff who are not able to work remotely across our offices to support social distancing. We have disseminated disinfecting materials to all employees and installed sanitizing stations throughout the our office space in addition to additional cleaning procedures.

We have also stopped making appointments both at our main lab and with many of our partners across the country.

Contact us:

Due to many of our office jobs being done remotely we encourage our clients to reach out to us through Facebook Messenger and via our email: Info@ValidityGenetics.com. As many of our office personnel will be able to quickly respond to any questions or comments

We understand the events impact us all, every city, state, and country. We strive to ensure the level of care we are known for with our clients during this time.

Until everything returns to normal remember to stay safe, take care of your loved ones, and don’t forget to wash your hands.

March 14 2020

As the effects of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic continue to be felt all across the globe, it is not surprising that everyone is affected and taking precautions in every state in the country. The closure of most schools and universities, the discouragement of large gathering, and a public announcement of a national emergency have led to a lot of confusion in everyone’s lives.

We wish to share an update to keep you informed and to ensure that we are working hard to take care of you, our customers, as well as our employees here at our offices and laboratories.

Over the coming weeks, in order to meet demand while supporting the needs and the health of our staff, we will no longer be scheduling sample collections for all DNA tests (including: Paternity, Legal, and NIPP DNA tests) at our home office, Laboratory, and with our partners across the country.

What this means to our customers:

We do NOT expect an increase in the turn around time for the results of our DNA tests at this time. We will update if and when this may change. Until then, Validity Genetics continues to receive, process, and produce the fastest most accurate DNA test results in the industry.

However, all scheduled appointments at our home office and laboratory have been canceled. Additionally we will no longer be scheduling appointments via our online portal for at least the coming 4-6 weeks. We also will no longer be scheduling DNA test appointments with our partners across the country.

  • This will have no impact on any home DNA tests, such as our Home Paternity Test. These tests can be ordered via our online website and used as normal.

  • The Validity Genetics Team will continue to provide quality of service for all Legal DNA Tests and will take the time to show customers how they can be done correctly without a scheduled visit to our offices or Lab.

We recommend the best option for contacting us be through Facebook Messenger or via email at: Info@ValidityGenetics.com for more information.

  • There will be an increase in our already stringent cleaning procedures. We will schedule multiple deep cleans in and around our office and laboratory on a regular basis. Additionally we will take greater steps to sterilize or minimize the risk of exposure via outgoing and incoming test kits where possible.

Please take care during the coming weeks and months during this time of global struggle and confusion and know that we are here to help and support you.
